Hello and welcome to Pellegrini Guitar! My name is Michael Pellegrini, and I’ll be your host. I’ve technically been playing guitar since 1987, which is when I received my Silvertone electric guitar and started taking lessons, but I didn’t start taking it seriously until 1994. As far as my life away from the guitar, I’m a husband and father of 3 amazing kids. I work as a software engineer for a big tech company and enjoy playing guitar whenever time permits. I usually find time to practice daily. I’m also a big sports fan, and I love to cook.

- Metallica
- Pantera
I know those artists cover a lot of ground, but they’re my favorites. I currently have about a dozen guitars in my collection, plus a bunch of other guitar gear, and enjoy doing demos of all this stuff for the Pellegrini Guitar YouTube channel. I’ve been waffling on the idea of starting this blog and YouTube channel for a few years, but finally decided to go for it. I realize the Internet has no shortage of guitar-related content already, but this site and YouTube channel have given me a new sense of musical purpose. My days of playing in bands may be over, but my love for the guitar and making music will never end. This platform and voice have helped reinvigorate my love for the guitar and give me something to keep practicing for.
You can expect a lot of gear demos and guitar lessons in the future. I’m hoping to start reviewing products as well, so if you’re a manufacturer and want me to do a demo or review of a product, please contact me.
